Spring is a time of new beginnings, renewal and hope. As we turn our faces to the warming sun and watch tulips emerge from winter hiding, DTRC is relaunching a meaningful initiative to help maintain our momentum in support of Canada’s professional dancers.
Our Buy a Brick, Build a Future campaign is now underway with a goal of raising a much-needed $50,000 by Canada Day, July 1.
Launched in 2005
Launched in 2005, we love Buy a Brick, Build a Future because it not only helps us help dancers across the nation, it is also an opportunity for our generous donors to leave a legacy for a loved one or friend. Our bricks are a tangible tribute to people who have contributed to dance on or off the stage.
Or they can be in honour or in memory of anyone who simply loves dance—a dedicated parent of a dancer, a passionate audience member or a donor to the arts.
The Pinnacle. A $10,000 platinum brick
Buy a Brick, Build a Future supports dancers directly through education, counselling and retraining programs.
The bricks will join those from past campaigns in a lovely and prominent display in our National Office, acting as a daily reminder of remarkable people and of the generosity of our donors.
