BRETT’S STORY

“Earlier in my career I used DTRC Skills Grants for French language classes before and during my time in Paris, France. I have more recently been benefiting from the counselling subsidy. My career/life transition is a frequent and important topic of discussion. I have always felt supported by the DTRC, and it makes my future transition less scary to know I have access to this support system.

The Skills Grants I received to learn French were so valuable when I switched work contracts in Paris. I was able to continue working in France because I could understand the language and therefore extend my visa and set myself up for career and financial success. Thank you DTRC.

The DTRC has always supported me. I am so grateful for their support no matter what style of dance I am currently pursuing. I look forward to exploring even more ways that the DTRC can assist me in my future career transition.”
