Pastel Supernova is a classically trained LatinX artist who has won several international awards for her productions and choreography. She is most interested in helping people harness their confidence by blending art and movement with energetic healing modalities. She is currently completing her death doula certification to offer trauma-informed grief coaching to her roster of services.

PASTEL’S STORY

“I have been involved in film, television, and theatre my whole life. I was thriving in the art world, teaching and performing in both avant-garde and highly commercial realms.When my career and income came to a jarring halt during the pandemic, people who knew about my holistic spiritual practice turned to me to hold space for them as they dealt with loss. I offered what I could but quickly realized that if I were better informed, I could pivot and blend art with much needed healing services. DTRC has helped me explore my options, through counseling and grants to further my education. I am grateful for the opportunities to explore, learn, and plan for the next act in my life.

Honestly, without the DTRC I would not have been able to afford the education I needed to make any kind of transition that would supply me with an energizing and sustainable career. It’s given me hope when I had little, and it’s given me insight as to how my skills can be transferred into a fulfilling service.”
