ELIZABETH’S STORY

I have been fortunate to receive support from the DTRC through the Skills Grant and the EVOLVE: Expansions Mentorship program. The Skills Grant allowed me to take driving lessons and successfully obtain my G2 and practice for my G license, which has opened up career possibilities for me. The mentorship program paired me with a fellow dance artist who is also a parent and has helped ease the transition into being both a new mom and dance artist.

I am so glad DTRC exists! The resources DTRC provides are invaluable and have really made a difference in my life and career. Knowing these supports are available to me is very reassuring and provides a kind of stability that is seldom found in a dance career.”
