Mental/emotional well-being and career resilience are our themes.
DTRC is excited to announce an expansion of our services – to members AND non-members.
We are now offering two new counselling streams to support professional dance artists by increasing their career resilience through employability and entrepreneurship coaching. In addition, members can apply for a new Counselling Subsidy Reimbursement to work with their own counsellor of choice and be reimbursed up to $100/session.
We are also increasing our support to non-member Indigenous, Black and People of Colour (IBPOC) dance artists through our partnership with the Adulam Foundation. Homecoming is a six-week pilot workshop series focusing on movement and mindfulness aimed at decolonizing healing and improving well-being.
Watch for our series of workshop info sessions upcoming throughout May! We kick things off on May 13th with our “Let’s Talk About Mental Wellness” video, in partnership with AFC.
