The unauthorized use, distribution, modification or copying of this website and its content is strictly prohibited.
In consideration of your use of this website, you represent and warrant that: you are: (i) of legal age to form a binding agreement, which in the Province of Ontario is 18 years of age or (ii) your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) is aware of your intention to agree to this Agreement and has given you their consent to do so; (ii) you are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws and regulations of Ontario, Canada and/or other applicable jurisdictions; and (iii) you will provide, maintain and update the DTRC with true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted and as otherwise reasonably requested and/or required by the DTRC.
The DTRC has the right to refuse, suspend or terminate your website account (your "Account") and/or to refuse any and all current or future use of this website (or any portion thereof), without warning: (i) if the DTRC believes you are under 18 years of age and you represent(ed) yourself as 18 or older; or (ii)you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or the DTRC has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete.
Use of this website and/or registration as a Member, Donor , Employer and/or Alumnus/Alumna ("Registration") is void where prohibited. Use of this website and Registration is confirmation of your age and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions, and any posted revision, shall be effective from the moment you use this website and/or when you complete the Registration process (as applicable and/or otherwise prompted by the DTRC) and shall remain in full force and effect even after you cease your use of this website and even after your Account is terminated.
Termination of Account
You may terminate your Account at any time, for any reason, by providing us with thirty (30) days advanced notice of your desire to terminate your Account. Such notice may be given via email. Your Account shall be deemed cancelled upon confirmation of receipt of your cancellation notice and the issuance of a valid cancellation number. The DTRCmay terminate your Account at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice or explanation, and without liability. The DTRCexpressly reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate your Account and/or deny, restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to any part of this website if the DTRC determines, in its sole discretion, that you (i) have violated these Terms and Conditions, (ii) pose a threat to the DTRC and/or its users and/or (iii) have violated any applicable law.
For greater certainty, you acknowledge and expressly consent to the DTRCaccessing, preserving, and disclosing your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process; (ii) enforce these Terms and Conditions; (iii) respond to claims that you have violated the rights of third parties; (iv) respond to your requests for service and/or technical support; or (v) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the DTRC, its users and/or the public.
Passwords & Security
During the Registration process (i.e. when you create your Account) you may be asked to choose a "Username" and/or password. You are solely and entirely responsible for any and all use of your Account and you are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Username and password.
You agree to (i) not use the website account, Username or password of another Member, Donor , Employer and/or Alumnus/Alumna at any time and to not disclose your password to any third party and (ii) notify the DTRC immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your Account or access to your password.
Use of interactive areas/ Posting content to the website
The DTRC provides users the opportunity to post content to certain sections of the website. The DTRC does not assume any responsibility for the consequences of content posted by users in these interactive areas. Furthermore, if you choose to use these interactive areas, you agree to accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under and/or in connection with your Account. The DTRC is not responsible for the confidentiality of communications through the Internet and your use of these interactive areas is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be held liable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account and password and for restricting access to your computer.
You may post content to the site so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam." You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or post misleading information. The DTRC reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules or which is otherwise inappropriate in the opinion of the DTRC.
It is prohibited to use the website in any manner so as to harass, threaten, abuse, embarrass, or cause distress, unwanted attention, or discomfort to any person or entity. This prohibition extends to any comment or conduct that is vulgar, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

The DTRC strives to make this site an informational and resourceful tool for its viewers and provides a number of links to third party sites. However, links are provided for your convenience only and the DTRC claims no responsibility for the content of the linked websites.
The DTRC offers a job board free of charge to its Members and Alumni. While job opportunities are carefully reviewed by DTRC staff before they are published, the DTRC is not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions, or any other aspect of subsequent employment. Hiring, scheduling and compensation are handled directly between the Member or Alumnus/Alumna and the employer, and Members/Alumni are urged to use their discretion when applying for or accepting jobs. Furthermore, the DTRC excludes all liability in connection with the information that is posted by employers.
Disputes – Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Attornment
The Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You expressly agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the Province of Ontario to resolve any dispute arising out of this Agreement or this website.
