Introducing your *keep on MOVING* presenters

Posted on: 2011/03/14

keep on MOVING  is a *free* one-day conference created to address the specific needs of emerging dance artists.  With input from your fellow emerging dancers we have designed a day brimming with information to help you find work, find money, promote yourself and propel your career.

As we approach the conference, we would like to give you the chance to get to know your presenters, panellists and experts.  We know that you've got questions - and they've got answers!

Artistic Producer of Summerworks - Michael Rubenfeld, is coming to talk to you about participating in festivals that will get your work out there to a wider audience.  Ask him all of your questions during the panel session on finding work.

Michael Rubenfeld has been the Artistic Producer of the SummerWorks Theatre Festival since 2008. He is also a Dora-nominated playwright, actor, director and independent producer. Most recently, he co-created "The Book of Judith" with Sarah Garton Stanley. He will be touring this work with the company he co-Artistic Directs with Stanley, Self Conscious Theatre. He is the former co-Artistic Director of Absit Omen Theatre with Hannah Moscovitch and an acting graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. He can be seen performing in the upcoming production of Our Class, co-produced by Studio 180 and the Canadian Stage Company. He will also be reprising his role in Yichud for the Passe Muraille/Magnetic North remount.
