The DTRC is developing a new project to provide skill development and career planning support to dance artists in Canada, promoting career resilience and sustainability in the field. Programming will serve performing dance artists at all stages of their careers, who are working in, alongside and beyond dance.

The DTRC is looking for:

1. Dance artist-presenters for an upcoming virtual workshop series focussing on entrepreneurship, business and financial skills for dance artists from October – December 2023.

2. Dance artist-mentors for an upcoming mentorship program focusing on career development and diversification for dance artists from January – June 2024.

MENTORS PDF

We’re looking for presenters and mentors at various career stages, with experience in a range of dance forms and practices and in fields beyond dance, with diverse lived experiences, from a variety of geographic locations in so-called Canada, and who are English-speaking, French-speaking, or bilingual.
