• Awarded $400,000 in Retraining and Subsistence Grants to dancers pursuing parallel or second careers.
• Awarded $40,000 in Skills Grants to help dancers build their skills in business, computers, languages and more.
• Provided over 700 hours of professional counselling services, totaling more than $53,000.
• Helped close to 500 young dancers across the country transition into professional dance careers through the on the MOVE/ danse TRANSIT career planning and networking national conference series.

Some of the costs associated with transition

$85 provides one hour of professional counselling.
$150 pays for a dancer to attend the on the MOVE/ danse TRANSIT conference series for emerging dancers.
$1000 funds a Career Exploration Grant.
$4000 provides a Retraining Grant.
$18,000 helps a dancer pay for living expenses while in full-time retraining.
