First Steps - Surrey

In partnership with the Arts Council of Surrey and the Surrey Festival of Dance, this conference is for dance students aged 15 years and older who would like to discover how to turn their passion for dance into a professional career. The conference is free for attendees, but online registration is required.

3:00-3:45	Fueling Your Body for Performance Cristina Bucci - Nutritionist & Professional Dancer Professional dancers must take special care to fuel their bodies the right way. Cristina will give us great tips on how to stay healthy during such an exciting and demanding career.
3:45-4:45	Inside the Dancer's Studio Q&A Session with Dance Professionals Jeff Mortensen, Ashley Sweett, and Kim Stevenson Do you ever wonder what it's like to go to an audition? Or perform on a cruise ship? Our diverse panel of artists will tell you about their own journeys and answer those burning questions about life & dance!
