As of Tuesday, January 24th, our BC Program Officer Andrea Gunnlaugson will be away from the office for 5-6 months as she recovers from knee surgery. In her absence, Zaena Campbell will be filling in for her at the BC Office. We would like to welcome Zaena and wish Andrea a smooth and speedy recovery!
I’m thrilled to be joining the DTRC community as BC Program Officer while Andrea Gunnlaugson is on leave. From my earliest ballet days to flamenco, lindy hop and contemporary arts theory, dance continues to be a constant source of joy, catharsis, insight and inspiration for me. I look forward to supporting these same qualities in your dance and beyond. Here’s a bit about me...
Along my own career path, I’ve had a chance to pick up some great tips for professional development and creative community building across different sectors and disciplines. I’ve helped to deliver scholarships, residency programs, live performances, grant news, professional development conferences and networking workshops with organizations as varied as the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Canada School of Public Service, Simon Fraser University and Metro Vancouver Professionals. I look forward to offering whatever fresh perspectives I might have and tapping into new resources in service of our members. I know that I will continue to discover even more at your side.
