It's convocation season, and we can't help but reflect on the excitement our alumni must have felt when receiving the certificates, diplomas, and degrees that pointed them toward their second careers. Throughout her studies, Léonie fell in love with the practice of law, but graduating was just the beginning of her journey. She was amazed at how the day to day work of a lawyer makes use of so many skills that she developed as a ballet dancer, and working within the corps de ballet is not so different from manouvering within her current firm.more »

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our American transition colleague, Alexander J. Dubé. Alex led the USA’s Career Transition For Dancers from 2001 – 2015. A former dancer, manager, and advocate for better working and socio-economic conditions for dancers, Alex’s concern and compassion for dancers was at the forefront of all he did.more »
