Nicole Caron was born in the United Arab Emirates, and grew up in Vancouver where she studied at the Richmond Academy of Dance.  Nicole has danced in countries across the globe including China, the U.S. and Switzerland, where she competed in the Prix de Lausanne.  In Canada, Nicole danced professionally for the Banff Centre before joining the Alberta Ballet.  This is Nicole’s 10th year with the Alberta Ballet dancing in such roles as Sugar Plum in the Nutcracker, title role in Carmen, Desdemona in Othello, and Principal in Balanchine's Who Cares, Serenade and Rubies.  Nicole has been the Alberta representative for over three years and she enjoys supporting Canada’s dance community in this position.
